Have you tested your autosomal DNA? Learn how to make the most of your results!
If you have tested your autosomal DNA with Ancestry, Family Tree DNA, or 23andme, this lecture is for you. Jan Alpert will review all three websites with suggestions for contacting cousins and analyzing your DNA results. She will also show you how to download your results to www.gedmatch.com and find matches from the other sites with whom you have not tested. She will provide examples of triangulation or “circles” on Ancestry and how those are your most important matches. The course is for people who have already tested their autosomal DNA.
