Ladies who love Santa Elena, please join us for a fun night of mingling! We will sample a selection of wines and enjoy a presentation of Anne of Austria – A Woman’s Life in the 16th Century by Lynn Bristow.
Anne of Austria – A Woman’s Life in the 1600’s – Presented in the guise of Anne of Austria, Queen of Spain from 1549 to 1580, this program will take a look at a woman’s life and her family’s expectations of her from her arranged marriage, to birth and death.
Lynn Bristow – Born in England, Lynn studied Medieval and Restoration Europe at the University of Sterling. She relocated to the US in 1997 and has lived in Beaufort since 2008 with her loyal African Gray Parrot. Lynn has been involved in Civil War reenactments and volunteered in her handmade costume gowns for the last decade.
