Horse Demonstration
Join Arnold Lewis Ginn and his helpers for an interesting morning – Western saddles on display, plus horses & riders in action. Mr. Ginn and granddaughter Toby Zahler, a horse handler herself, will demonstrate preparing horses for a morning ride: beginning with cleaning hooves to saddling up and then exhibiting Western style riding.
When: May 22 from 10-11:30
Where: Behind Palmetto State Bank (Hampton) facing Clemson Extension Building
Parking: On surrounding streets. Please approach demonstration area by walking on pavement only.
Weather permitting
No seating will be provided. Bring a chair if you’d like, but it is not necessary!
Following the program, walk a short block to Hampton County Museum @ the Old Jail to see a display of Arnold Ginn’s personal collection of horse bits, saddles and other equine related items. The museum will be open to the public from 11–2.
