Poison Peach at The Palmetto

Hampton County goes Hollywood as Augusta’s Poison Peach Film Festival makes its South Carolina debut. Watch homegrown stars of the silver screen walk the red carpet in front of our historic art deco gem and enjoy an evening of locally and regionally produced short films, including a piece directed by Hampton County’s own Dr. Thaddeus Jones. Then settle in for the main event – a feature film directed by Christopher Forbes,
shot in Hampton County with a local cast!
6 pm Red Carpet arrivals and VIP Reception. Reception is free for cast and crew. Limited tickets are available for guests.
7 pm Short Films
8 pm
Friday Feature – “Kill Cavalry”
Saturday Feature – “The Burning of Atlanta”
Sunday – 1 pm – Matinee Double Feature – “Kill Cavalry” followed by “The Burning of Atlanta.”
4 pm – Crab Crackin’ hosted by Boss Seafood. Enjoy snow crab, shrimp, smoked sausage, potatoes and corn on the cob at this community picnic in Art Alley. Separate ticket required. Proceeds benefit Art Council programs.
A new exhibit of paintings “The Land and Us” will also be available for viewing in The Stanley Building for the duration of the Festival.
All tickets are extremely limited to comply with CDC and DHEC Guidelines for social distancing. Masks must be worn inside the Theater at all times. Concessions will be for sale by Snoballs Y’all for enjoyment outside in Art Alley.
