Backyard Birds and Suet Making
The Coastal Discovery Museum will host Jill Moore on April 28 from 5-6:30 pm for this fun family
event. The Lowcountry is full of beautiful birds. Come and learn about some of the incredible
birds found in your own backyard with local naturalist and found of Moore to Life, Jill Moore.
From migrating songbirds, to shorebirds, to birds you can attract to feeders, this is a great
introduction to the diversity of Lowcountry birds. Make your own suet and take it home to attract
more feathered friends to your yard. This experience is geared towards adults and upper
elementary school aged children and older.
Cost is $18 per person and reservations are required by calling 843-689-6767 ext. 223. The
museum is located at 70 Honey Horn Drive on Hilton Head Island.
