Bringing the Wild Alive
The Coastal Discovery Museum will host Lila Arnold, founder of Lowcountry Raptors, for a program on April 12 at 3 pm. The presentation uses non-releasable birds of prey to educate about conservation, habitat loss, and the natural history of each bird presented. The audience will be introduced to the majesty and beauty of these birds of prey in a close and personal setting. Birds will include several species of owls, hawks, falcons and a vulture.
Lowcountry Raptors was founded in 2012 by Lila Arnold and she has over 20 years in avian rescue, rehabilitation, and education with migratory birds and birds of prey.

The Museum is located at 70 Honey Horn Drive on Hilton Head Island.
