Butterfly Enclosure to reopen at Coastal Discovery Museum
The Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn will reopen the Karen Wertheimer Butterfly Enclosure for
their guided tours on May 6th. The tours will be held on Fridays at 2:30 pm. The tour will give
participants an up close and personal look at the native butterflies. You will learn hands-on about the
different stages of a butterfly’s life cycle-see a living caterpillar and chrysalis! Reservations are required
and may be made by calling 843-689-6767 ext 223. The cost is $12 for adults and $7 for children (ages
4-12)
The Museum is located at 70 Honey Horn Drive on Hilton Head Island.
