From Data to Decisions: Coastal Resource management Challenges under Changing Conditions

The Coastal Discovery Museum will host Kim Jones on October 13 at 2 pm for this informative program.  The Town of Bluffton actively collects different types of data that reflects the health of the May River watershed.  Ongoing data collection helps town managers to make informed decisions on how to best manage future growth and to actively address any anomalies that may impair the local waterways.  Jones is the Town of Bluffton Watershed Management Division Manager and will explain how the town monitors its waters, what is the current state of the local waters, and what are the future challenges facing Bluffton and surrounding areas.
Cost of the program is $7 and reservations are required by calling 843-689-6767 ext. 223.
The museum is located at 70 Honey Horn Drive on Hilton Head Island.
