Experiencing Nature Through a Lens
The Coastal Discovery Museum will host Robert Rommel on January 3 at 2 pm for this program
in our Discovery Lecture series. Rommel, a Bluffton nature photographer and biologist will
relate what it is like to share nature through photographs. His fieldwork on the beaches,
marshes, swamps, and forest of the lowcountry will be described. He will also discuss his
recent projects with sea turtles, sunflowers, fish and driftwood beaches. Suggestions on where
and how to find his favorite subjects locally will be revealed!
The cost for the program is $7 and reservations are required by calling 843-689-6767 ext. 223.
The museum is located at 70 Honey Horn Drive on Hilton Head Island.
