Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park celebrates the return of its third annual holiday drive-
through light event for 2022. Children and Adults alike will enjoy the holiday light display set
amongst one of Hilton Head Island’s most important historic sites. This year’s “Holiday Nights &
Lights” event continues the popular drive-through experience Saturday, December 3- Monday,
December 5, 2022, from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in Historic Mitchelville Freedom Park, 229 Beach
City Road, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. As guests make plans to enjoy holiday magic at
the Park, turn it into an experience-grab some hot cocoa, turn on a favorite Christmas music
channel, and be on the lookout for something that might usually be out of place in the park!
We suggest getting online either at 5:45pm or at 7:30pm to avoid a long wait! Please be patient
with our volunteers and other participants. The cost is free, and donations will be accepted.
