Reptiles and Amphibians of the Lowcountry at Coastal Discovery Museum
The Coastal Discovery Museum will introduce a new program this summer on Thursdays, from 2-3 pm, starting June 1 and running through August 31. Alligators, snakes, and turtles will be hand for you to take a closer look at the fascinating and unique characteristics of these local reptiles and amphibians.  You will have a chance to interact with a few live critters and discover the importance of these often-misunderstood animals.  Learn how to protect these amazing creatures and safely enjoy sharing the lowcountry with them.
This family friendly indoor experience is also a nice escape from the afternoon heat!  Cost is $10 adult, $5 child (ages 5-12) and reservations are required by calling 843-689-6767 ext. 223.
The Coastal Discovery Museum is located at 70 Honey Horn Drive on Hilton Head Island.
