Terpsichore 2023! HHDT’s unique collection of dance genres opens with Gershwin Suite, Jamal Edwards exuberant ballet set to some of George Gershwin’s most beloved tunes.
The evening finale is Karena Brock-Carlyle’s staging of the third act of Marius Petipa’s masterpiece, Don Quixote, featuring the iconic wedding pas de deux for Kitri and Basilio, danced by Lucy Peltz and guest artist Will Scott.
Highlighting the middle portion of the program will be eclectic choreography set to music by Erik Satie, Jayden, They Might Be Giants, and the Irish rock band The Pogues.
