The holiday season is one of nostalgia for many. This year’s program will celebrate from a more traditional standpoint the many moods of the season as the Choral Society presents the Christmas portion of Handel’s classic, Messiah, and Robert Shaw’s The Many Moods of Christmas. Additionally, several works will be presented that pay homage to Chanukah and Kwanzaa. Come celebrate the season through a variety of perspectives, cultures and traditions.
The Lowcountry & Resort Islands Region of South Carolina includes the four, southern-most counties in the state, Beaufort, Jasper, Hampton, and Colleton, which are bordered on the east by the Atlantic Ocean and on the west by the Savannah River and the state of Georgia.
