Winter Raptors at Coastal Discovery Museum
The Coastal Discovery Museum will host Winter Raptors on January 4 at 2 pm. Join
us as Aaron Palmieri from the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy introduces us to fierce
avian predators found throughout Beaufort Cunty during the winter. We are
fortunate to have a large diversity of raptors grace the skies over the
Lowcountry….and the winter is the best time to observe the greatest variety!
Palmieri is the educator for the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy where he leads nature
hikes, provides educational lectures, and assists with research and land
management that occurs throughout Palmetto Bluff.
The cost is $5 for this virtual presentation and reservations are required by calling
843-689-6767 ext. 223. The museum is located at 70 Honey Horn Drive on Hilton
Head Island.
