“Plantation Profiles” with the Curator of Morris Center for Lowcountry Heritage. Plantations are embedded in the DNA of South Carolina history, especially the heritage of this region, and everyone can benefit from a better understanding of their past. In connection with “Beyond the Oaks: Lowcountry Plantations” exhibit, this curator talk, Director of Exhibitions and Programs Kayleigh Vaughn will give insight on some the plantations from the Beaufort County region including such examples as Frogmore and Tomotley.
