Join us for a biographical presentation on the key historical figure, Marquis de Lafayette. Our guest speaker, Bill Davies, is a retired lawyer and a member of several historical societies in the Lowcountry region. Learn about Lafayette’s time in America while serving in the Revolutionary War and his eventual return stateside at the request of President Monroe. This enigmatic “Hero of Two Worlds” remains one of the most interesting historical figures of the 18th and 19th centuries.
