Plantation Profiles: Colleton County With Morris Center Curator
Plantations are embedded in the DNA of South Carolina history, especially the heritage of this region, and everyone can benefit from a better understanding of their past. In this curator talk, in connection with Beyond the Oaks: Lowcountry Plantations exhibit, Morris Center for Lowcountry Heritage Director of Exhibitions and Programs Kayleigh Vaughn will give insight on some the plantations from the Colleton County region including such examples as Bonnie Doone and Ravenwood.
