The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and the City of Walterboro are pleased to host the first annual Kids Fishing Rodeo at Gladys Whiddon Park May 13th from 9 am – 12 pm. This event is free and open to the public. Bring your own rod and reel. No fishing license required. Walk-up registration available or register at www.dnr.sc.gov.Come enjoy fishing with a fully stocked pond and get fishing tips from SCNDR, free giveaways and prizes, including a drawing for a lifetime fishing license, a $500 value.
