Dragonboat Race Day! DRAGONS will once again invade Beaufort at Waterfront Park on Bay Street in downtown Beaufort! Sponsored by DragonBoat Beaufort, the local cancer survivor/supporter racing team the race will take place from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Each year, the race draws hundreds of paddlers and thousands of spectators to the Beaufort seawall. All you need is 20-25 paddlers and a drummer to form a team. All teams will be trained how to paddle a dragonboat and all equipment will be supplied including a trained steerer.
