When political opinions run high, The Capitol Steps provides the comic relief we all crave! This multi-award winning comedy troupe was originated by a group of Senate Staffers who set out to satirize the very people and places that employed them. The Capitol Steps combines song and stand-up into one unique, brilliantly hilarious show that even left Larry King saying, “They’re the best. There’s no one like them, no one in their league!”
No matter who or what is in the headlines, you can bet The Capitol Steps will tackle both ends of the political spectrum and all things equally foolish. What more would you expect from the group that puts the “mock” in Democracy?! Performance times: Friday and Saturday 8 p.m., Sunday 2 p.m.
