Hilton Head ~ Wading Birds of SC at Coastal Discovery Museum

The Coastal Discovery Museum will host Christy Hand for this program on January 31 at 3 pm.  The colonial wading birds of South Carolina are a diverse and fascinating group of birds.  This presentation will provide information about the conservation status and overall health of the species of wading birds present in South Carolina.

Christy Hand is a wildlife biologist for the SCDNR and wading birds and marsh birds are her primary focus.  Cost is $7 per person and reservations are required by calling 843-689-6767 ext. 223.   The Museum is located at 70 Honey Horn Drive on Hilton Head Island.
