Introduction to Plein Air Sketching
– are hesitant about what to bring/carry?
– don’t want to draw attention to yourself?
– feel you need more drawing skills?
– just learning to use watercolor?
Join Pam for a fun and instructional art day capturing lowcounty autumn beauty at the public passive park: Widgeon Point Preserve.
Pam introduces students to the joys of sketching in the great outdoors. This class features both a video tutorial about supplies helpful when working plein air, and live instruction. On site demonstrations are followed by in-the-field times structured for students to create journal pages while receiving one-on-one guidance from Pam. There will be a half-hour lunch break. The day concludes with a show and tell, featuring pages created along with guidance for the next steps needed in the continuation of working plein air.
