Eminent local historians Dr. Larry Rowland and Dr. Steve Wise bring to life the Lowcountry stories of Beaufort in WWII to the Morris Center. Dr. Wise is director of the Parris Island museum and Cultural Resource Manager for the Marine Recruit Depot on Parris Island. Dr. Larry Rowland serves as adjunct history professor for University of South Carolina at Beaufort. Their years of research and experience will bring to the program little known local events and stories from this pivotal time in world history.
