PRESENTATION ABOUT BOOK BY RIDGELAND AUTHOR, CAROLYNE TAYLOR WYNNE
On November 10, 2018, at 2:00 PM, at the Morris Center for Lowcountry Heritage in Ridgeland, South Carolina, Terry Wynne will talk about Through My Eyes, a charming book of memoirs written by her mother, Carolyne Taylor Wynne, a native of Ridgeland. This book includes humorous and poignant tales about A Lifetime of Memories—Southern Style (the book’s subtitle) including Carolyne’s life as a country girl in the low country; her move to Atlanta, Georgia, where she became a Southern lady; and her adventures as an international traveler. In her entertaining presentation, Ms. Wynne will describe how the book began and how the book cover evolved from the author’s own art. She’ll also tell light-hearted stories about the author that are not in the book. According to Ms. Wynne, expect to laugh, hear fun-loving comparisons between yesteryear and today, and gain inspiration to write your own memoirs. The presentation has no charge and is open to the public to attend. It is sponsored by the Morris Center, 10782 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, Ridgeland, South Carolina 29936. The Morris Center can be reached at 843-284-9227. The book is published by Graphite Press. You can find more information about the book at CarolyneTaylorWynne.com.
