Ridgeland ~ Concert for the Heroes

Event Details

Operation Patriots FOB (OPFOB), exists on a 268-acre recreational property in Ridgeland, SC where we host veterans, active duty, first responders and their families. Our mission is to create and foster positive experiences for these local heroes by connecting through outdoor and recreational activities. We create an alliance through peer engagement in a comfortable and relaxed environment. These various forms of recreation, along with a newfound camaraderie, have been proven ways of helping deal with PTSD and other demons they may be facing from the scars of battle. We offer hunting, fishing, sporting clays, target range, trail riding, etc… and all of this is offered FREE to these heroes and their families. More about our passion behind our mission can be viewed in the video below.

Quite simply, we are passionate about helping reduce the alarming rate of veteran and first responder suicides in our local area. We have lost more Iraq and Afghanistan veterans to suicide than we did on those battlefields. On average, we lose 22 veterans and active duty military to suicide every day; one every 65 minutes. We lose more first responders each year to suicide than in the line of duty.

We are hosting a benefit concert in support of this mission on April 26th at OPFOB. The headliner will be country music star Clay Walker along with special guests Chris Cagle, and local legend Chris Jones. Ticket sales are limited, and every year we sell out our VIP Experience, so order today!
