Southeast Coastal Birds
The Coastal Discovery Museum will present this program on February 1 at 2 pm with Paul Weatherhead as the featured speaker. Birds have been an indicator species for our entire world history and all over the globe. Migratory birds travel 20,000 miles round trip from the tip of Argentina in the south to the Artic Circle in the north. You will see pictures of some of these fascinating birds that live and pass through Hilton Head Island. Learn about the challenges and successes in preserving our birdlife. Discover where you can see birdlife on-line and in real life in the lowcountry.
This program will be presented in person for $7 per person and $5 for a virtual program. Reservations are required and may be made by calling 843-689-6767 ext 223. The museum is located at 70 Honey Horn Drive on Hilton Head Island.
