This street fest will feature live performances from the Geechee Gullah Ring Shouters of Darien, GA, Deninufay African Dance and Drum Co. of Charleston, SC, Folk Artist Bruce Ingram of Conway, SC, Aunt Pearlie Sue and the Gullah Kinfolk of Beaufort, SC, singers Latrese Bush of Atlanta, GA, Kristen Jamison of Orangeburg, SC, along with art workshops, live musical performances, book talks, food trucks, a cultural food demonstration by Chef BJ Dennis, and more!
We will also host a designated Kids Corner that features storytelling, art activities, Gullah performers, and a kidpreneur “candy lady”!
