For nearly a quarter century in Beaufort he was the man in Santa’s Red Suit, greeting men and women and children with equal Christmas cheer. With endless Kringle quips and never-ending joy with the perfect Saint Nick laugh, he lit up Nights On the Town, Christmas Parades, photo opportunities, business openings and Christmas parties, schools, churches, cancer centers, private homes, and more. He added Mrs. Claus and elves to his years of Beaufort appearances, and his Claus family became in more demand each Christmas season, surpassing over thirty major events every December. He retired after the 2015 Beaufort Christmas Season, proud of the decades of being with children, families, pets, people on the street, and beyond, sharing the spirit of Saint Nicholas and the true meaning of Christmas to all.
