Come experience The Morris Center for Lowcountry Heritage annual tea. Try the unique varieties from Charleston Tea Plantation, as you learn about South Carolina’s tea-growing history. Horticulturist Joshua Giordano-Silliman of Hortfire LLC leads guests through lowcountry tea cultivation from the early 20th century to the current commercial operation on Wadmalaw Island. The afternoon tea includes scrumptious treats. Don’t forget to don your favorite spring hat and face mask. Purchases are non-refundable.
