Friends of Colleton County Animal Shelter will be hosting our 7th Annual
Walk & Wag event on Saturday, September 19, 2020, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
This event is held in the Walterboro Wildlife Center parking lot (at the corner of N.
Jefferies Blvd and Washington St.) with group walks through the Walterboro
Wildlife Sanctuary. Our goal is to raise awareness of the importance of responsible
pet ownership, and provide exercise (for pets and people).
We hope to hold an in-person event celebrating our pets, but FoCCAS has created a
contingency plan should we feel that our event is not in the best interest for the
health of our community. We will have live activities on September 19 or virtual
activities that week. We would love to include your name or company on the
t-shirts worn by the community to show support for the animals of Colleton
County
This event allows dogs and their people to come out and socialize, listen to music,
have lunch, and visit vendors.
